About the Competition

TALESTRA is an intercollegiate literary festival organized by the Writers’ Association of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. The event brings together students from different institutions who are passionate about literature, creativity, and intellectual challenges.

During the fest, I participated in the Treasure Hunt – Indian Competition, an exciting challenge where participants had to solve a chain of seven interconnected hints. Each clue revealed the next stage of the puzzle, testing the participants' logical thinking, observation skills, and creativity.

The competition required analytical thinking, interpretation of hidden meanings, and the ability to connect different ideas in order to progress through the puzzle chain.

My Experience

Participating in this event was a truly exciting and intellectually engaging experience. During the Treasure Hunt challenge, I successfully solved five out of the seven clues. Although I did not reach the final stage, the process of solving the clues was both challenging and rewarding.

More than the result, the real value of the competition was the learning experience it provided. It helped me improve my ability to analyze problems, observe details carefully, and think creatively while approaching complex tasks.

Events like TALESTRA inspire students to explore their potential beyond academics and encourage creative expression, logical reasoning, and confidence. I am grateful to the Writers’ Association of Kristu Jayanti University for organizing such an engaging and meaningful literary event.
